Are you a passionate amateur ornithologist but don't have anyone to share your hobby with? Or have you always wanted to know which insects buzz and crawl across our meadows in summer? No problem! Our working groups are an opportunity to find like-minded people, to learn more about specific topics or to support our nature conservation work with targeted investigations. Over the course of the year, the members meet again and again, offer their own excursions and attend events or training courses together.

The working groups at NABU Aachen depend on who is involved and where the interests of our members lie. Interested parties and newcomers are welcome to join any of them at any time, no prior knowledge is necessary. The variety of topics in the work of NABU Aachen is far greater, but the following working groups are currently active:
